Failed Experiments
#1. Marissa Rose Smith
Marissa Rose Smith (left, face distorted and image cropped), 2008, age 29 before assisted death. One of the first attempts at transportation between worlds. Prominent facial distortions around eyes, nose, and mouth (appearing to be "smudged"). Arms and fingers elongated by an inch. Formerly married to Dr. Smith. After an attempted (but failed) recovery, Dr. Smith suggested Mrs. Smith be "put down" ethically to relieve her from her pain. Public informed of Mrs. Smith's "disappearance" on December 2, 2008.
#2. Emilia (Emma) Lee Jr.
Emilia (Emma) Lee Jr. (eyes blurred). 2009, age 7. Pne of the few who failed the large experiment. At first no negative physical symptoms. Mental and physical complications (increasingly violent and elongation of limbs) slowly progressed and over the span of three weeks Miss Lee was placed into solitary confinement in the TOUS lab until she died naturally on December 5, 2008. The side effects Miss Lee experienced were unlike anything recorded in history.
#3. Henry Roberta
Henry Roberta, 2007, age 23. Upon returning to our natural world with seemingly no physical changes, Mr. Roberta was returned to his home under bi-weekly supervision. After a week there were reports of strange noises coming from his home and serial disappearances nearby. After investigating it was discovered that Roberta's mental health had completely deteriorated and he had gone insane, he was sentenced to death by the court on June 13, 2007. Surviving victims of Roberta received intensive care.
#4. Linda and Margret
Linda (35) and Margret (34), married and mothers of two children named [RETRACATED]
What can we learn from these cases?
1. Complications can occur days to weeks after returning the subject to their reality. These can be physical or mental. Most common effects / complications include:
- elongated limbs by an inch or more (usually in fingers and arms)
- obvious facial distortions / facial features appearing "smudged" or "blurred"
- large eyes
- changes in personality (aggression / hostility, opposition to physical touch, laughing at inappropriate times and/or constantly)
- complaints of intense pain
- death
2. Subjects must be watched constantly to ensure their well-being and in turn the accuracy of our experiments.
3. Though complications may occur, it has now been proven possible to travel through space and into other worlds, and to return to original reality without immediate death. This was made possible through our Quantum Collision Machine (QCM), built by our large team of scientists and engineers. The QCM works through the collisions of billions of protons per second, because this energy cannot be destroyed it moves to another place. This is the universe closest to us. The QCM is powerful enough to bring people with it.
